Ever since Iron Man was released back in 2008, the MCU has been known for incredible action, amazing special effects and also for casting some of the hottest women in the world. Now, these women are also amazing actors so it’s not just because they’re beautiful that they got their roles but it doesn’t hurt, either. And why not? You have some handsome guys like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth in the mix, it's OK to have some gorgeous ladies kicking butt alongside them.

Officially, Pepper Potts played by Gwyneth Paltrow was the first lady of the MCU and she was followed by Liv Tyler in “The Incredible Hulk.” The sequel to “Iron Man” brought Paltrow back and introduced us to Natasha Romanoff, also known as the Black Widow, and it was clear from then on out that Marvel was all about women who were powerful and tough and could take on any villain while also looking amazing. In the following years they introduced dozens more, from Zoe Saldana’s Gamora to Cate Blanchett’s Hela to Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp. Some are heroes, some are villains, but they all put in memorable performances.
